Having gained a reasonable grasp one can refer any competent authors of aptitude.While doing so, along with keeping in mind the shortcuts, for attaining real mastery in aptitude,it is better to derive the shortcuts. This is particularly recommended both when one wishes to generate new shortcuts for variety of problems and when one faces tricky twisted questions. read less

What will be the remainder when 47 to the power 47 is divided by 144 in base 12? Answer should be in base 12.
The only difference will be instead from having 0-9 we will have 0-9 and then A & B. Try it now. Or you can convert every thing on a base of 10 get the answer and convert it back to base 12.
