What are the difficulties of Python programming language which are unnoticed by beginners?

Beginners coming from other programming languages, find it odd that they have to use tabs or white spaces as a required syntax for code blocks. Writing a handful of scripts will make you feel at home with the syntax of Python. There is nothing like practise.
