Most certainly !!! The easy syntax of Python helps novices to overcome the hurdles of programming with lost of ease. I have used it to teach "Programming Logic" to students from HR and Finance background !!

Yes it's one of the easiest language with major facilities in it. You can do from webscrapping to big data processing. I can clearly see it's futuristic language and you should learn it.
