Deepjyoti Bora

I am a passionate geographer, researcher, and online educator with a strong academic foundation in spatial analysis, environmental studies, and remote sensing. I hold a B.A. in Geography from Nowgong College (2023), an M.Sc. in Geography from Cotton University (2025), and an ADCA from Udysee Computer Academy (2022).
I have presented research papers at several ICSSR-sponsored national seminars and international conferences on diverse topics such as self-reliant farming, migration trends, ethnic conflicts, youth and media, and women's empowerment. My work has also been published in edited volumes on sustainable development goals and Assam’s tourism economy.
I offer online tuition only, specializing in Geography for higher secondary and undergraduate students. My teaching style is interactive, concept-driven, and application-based. I integrate maps, real-world examples, digital tools, and visual aids to make lessons engaging and easy to grasp. I focus on clarity of concepts, regular assessments, and personalized support to ensure students not only perform well academically but also understand the subject deeply.
I am proficient in MS Office, ArcGIS, SPSS, and basic programming, and have completed several workshops on research methodology, GIS, IP awareness, and entrepreneurship. Through my academic and teaching journey, I aim to inspire learners and contribute meaningfully to the field of geographical education and research.
