So, if you draw a circle it will form a right angle triangle with hypotenuse 5 cm and base 3 cm. using Pythagoras theorem, the length will be equal to 4 cm.

Suppose a coordinate A(1,1) in 1st quadrant, if you place a mirror in y-axis then the reflection of A will be in 2nd quadrant. as you have kept the mirror in y axis, the value of y-coordinate will not change, only the value of x will change. and that too with minus (-) sign. i.e, now the reflected coordinate... ...more
