I think the your experience in college is what you make of it. If you go in knowing exactly what you want to do with your career and use college as a means of getting there, then you may miss out on campus activities, meeting new people, networking, developing yourself, etc. it’s not a bad route to go because it gives you focus but there may be things that you may wish you would’ve taken the time out to experience while in college. On the other hand, if you become integrated with clubs, sororities/fraternities, campus life, you may end up meeting some great people who make the college ride way more enjoyable. As for me, I definitely took college as a means to an end and really just focused on getting my degree rather than becoming involved with networking. If I had to do it again, I don’t think I would change much about it the second time. Most of the friends you make in college will end up focusing on their life after graduation and you’ll realize everyone is too busy to go back to the partying ways in college.
