My journey in school from being a primary teacher to becoming a secondary teacher has been a meaningful and enriching experience. When I began teaching the younger children, every day felt like a new start. Their curiosity, innocence, and excitement for small achievements taught me patience and joy. I learned how important it is to build a strong foundation, not just in their subjects but also in their confidence and habits. As I moved to the secondary section, my role changed, and so did my understanding of teaching. Older students come with new questions, new challenges, and a deeper need for guidance. They look for clarity, motivation, and someone who can support them as they grow into responsible young individuals. Teaching them has helped me grow too—both professionally and personally. This progression has taught me that every stage of a child’s learning is important, and a teacher must evolve with the students. My school has supported me at every step, giving me opportunities to learn, upgrade my skills, and understand students better. Today, when I look back, I feel grateful for this journey that has shaped me into a more confident, responsible, and empathetic educator.
