Namaste! I’m Ishwari Shrigar, a dedicated and soulful Hindustani Classical Vocalist and teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching Hindustani Classical, Semi-Classical, Light Vocal music, and Harmonium. I bring tradition, discipline, and joy to every class I teach. I hold a Sangeet Visharad degree from the prestigious Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, where I’ve also been affiliated as a teacher and examiner for the past 18–20 years. I prepare students for official Gandharva Mahavidyalaya music exams, and have proudly seen many of them succeed with distinction. My experience is not only academic—I am also an active performer, having sung at classical music events across Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Gwalior, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Gujarat, and more. These live performances help me bring a real-world understanding of musical expression to my teaching. I guide students through a holistic music learning process, starting from the basics of voice training, breath control, and raga development to advanced techniques in Khayal, Bhajans, Ghazals, and Semi-Classical forms. My teaching is tailored to each student’s level and pace. Back in college, I was proud to be awarded the First Prize at the State Level Khayal Gayan Competition, a classical singing category that requires precision and soulful delivery. This honor remains close to my heart and has inspired me to pass on this beautiful tradition to the next generation. I offer both online and offline classes, making it easier for students across India and abroad to connect and learn. My sessions are immersive, rooted in tradition yet accessible to modern learners, whether they're pursuing music as a hobby or a profession. If you are looking to master classical music, prepare for music exams, or simply deepen your love for Hindustani vocal and harmonium, I welcome you to join my classes. Together, we’ll celebrate the beauty of Indian classical music with sincerity and devotion.
