Mr Biswas ,Russian language is being used as Official ,regional and cultural language of nations which were part of erstwhile Soviet Union.
Today these nations have strong Defence,Technical and cultural ties with India eg Russia,Kazakhstan,Kirgistan ,Turkmenistan etc.
Not only Defence Our Energy,Telecom, IT and Tourism sectors are expanding to these nations . Language is a major inhibiting factor in the progress of desired aim.Its importance is also substantiated being one of official languages of UN.
Learning Russian will surely be a force Multiplier and will give a fillip to your career in India and abroad.
