She started her career as an air hostess for Cathay Pacific airways working in the business and first class, serving the airline’s high profile customers for over 3 and a half years. She moved into education and training in 1997 when she moved back to India from Hong Kong. Here she had the opportunity to work with the renowned singer-composer Shri Suresh Wadkar. She ran their academic school “Ajivasan”, in Juhu, Mumbai which was based on alternative educational principles. In the 3 years that she worked here, along with teaching English, she started an internet café managed by the students - for the students; she was also responsible for selecting and training the faculty and setting the curriculum for the students. At this time she started her own web design company developing web sites for educational organizations, Corporates and Mumbai’s leading music companies. Mohana then migrated to California, USA, where she started a chain of retail stores showcasing European and American brands of clothes and women’s accessories. Her store was featured as the best consignment store in San José, California by a leading fashion magazine of the city in 2009.
Areas of Expertise: Since moving back to India in 2010, Mohana has been a visiting faculty and Soft Skills trainer with many of Pune’s MBA and Hospitality training colleges like Sinhagad, UEI Global and JD college of Hotel management. She has held many workshops in Personality development, Grooming and communication skills for companies like Mercedes Benz, Symbiosis International University and Huzurpaga among others. She also conducts event management and Image Management courses at “Events & More" – an event management company in Pune where she was the event head organizing large scale music based events in Pune and Mumbai.

Education and other achievements: Mohana has a Bachelors degree in Commerce and Economics and a diploma in Animation and Morphing. She has learnt Russian and French and was honored with a full sports scholarship throughout her college for representing Maharashtra in many National championships in Rifle Shooting. She was awarded the title of “best Shot” for 3 consecutive years for ranking among the top 5 rifle shooters of India.
Mohana’s long standing dream is to build an organisation in India that will facilitate people to build on their individual competencies, becoming more effective in their personal, social and work life- each becoming a success story in their own right!
