I am Gold medalist in M.A ( Marathi literature) and Bachelor in Journalism and Research scholar in Women’s studies have given me widespread and versatile knowledge of interdisciplinary subjects like sociology, political science, history, subaltern studies, anthropology, women’s rights, human rights and law. This knowledge was gained from my involvement in Women’s movement, Narmada Bachao Andolan, NAPM and the struggle against Enron. All these movements based on thorough research about displaced people, marginalized communities, their livelihood resources like land, water, forest, their constitutional rights, gender studies, environmental concerns, education for all essential for life, policies for inclusion etc. So I have read and studied lot of books, research papers, studied policy documents, legal cases , developed training modules, manuals etc. I developed my critical analysis and research skills. This knowledge base can be helpful for the students in higher education, especially interdisciplinary studies in the Humanities. I found the small courses have been introduced on B.Ed. level or environment or gender studies. I can teach/ give training to M. Phil students in social studies, women’s studies, school of government and advocacy about research methodology and skill of writing research papers.I can give tutorials to create teaching curriculum. My talent of writing poems, plays, stories, oratory and painting skills can give my students extra benefit.
