Should i learn primavera, excel etc or go for certifications like CAPM, PRINCE2?

CAPM, PRINCE2 or PMP are the project management Certifications, that helps you to gain knowledge, add the certification tag (to justify your knowledge). If you know Primavera and excel before going for CAPM & PRINCE2, will always help; but without the knowledge of these tools, doesn't make much difference.
