Not necessarily. If you are able to convey your message clearly to the customer with sufficient data points, diagrams and audio/visual aids confidently, you are good to rock the session.

Hi Geethu, no doubt having fluency in English helps in giving a better presentation. But that is not an essential criteria. For a good presentation, you should be able to clearly communicate your point of view in a convincing manner. Otherwise, there is no point in just speaking fluently in English.

So long as you speak clearly and comfortably using simple English language you, it should not be an issue. Even an average English can win you big applause from audience, if your message is clear and in order. However, there are plenty of other factors which can add punch to your presentation.
