In November 2019, I began a meaningful chapter of my professional journey at St. Columbus School, Allahabad, a CBSE-affiliated institution located in the rural heart of the town. As a coordinator cum English teacher, I had the opportunity to impact young minds from classes 6 to 10, not just through textbooks, but by nurturing their communication skills, critical thinking, and confidence. The environment demanded versatility—balancing teaching with planning study schedules, coordinating academic activities, and facilitating co-curricular engagement. When the pandemic disrupted traditional learning, I played an active role in transitioning to online classes, supporting students, teachers, and administration during the sudden shift. Conducting online exams, meetings, and classes became part of our new normal, and I’m proud to have been a pillar of stability during that time. This experience sharpened my abilities in academic planning, adaptability, and leadership, and deepened my respect for the transformative power of education. My time at St. Columbus School not only strengthened my teaching philosophy but also reinforced my commitment to making meaningful contributions to any role I undertake.
