I Dr Shobha Thakur Teach Secondary, Senior Secondary ,UG, and PG students Since last 13 years . i have published my 8 own books and 3 manuals . I M an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Prayagraj. She possesses over 13 years of teaching and research experience, specializing in Environmental Chemistry, Polymer Technology, and Organic Chemistry.

Throughout her career, Dr. Thakur has been deeply involved in academic teaching, curriculum development, and guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects related to environmental sustainability and polymer science. Her approach combines theoretical understanding with practical application, inspiring students to develop critical thinking and scientific curiosity.

Dr. Thakur has received multiple recognitions for her contributions to education and research, including:

Recognition Award (2018) from the Environment and Social Welfare Society (ESWS), Khajuraho

Fellowship Award (2021) for Environmental Education from ESWS, Madhya Pradesh

Distinguished Service Award (2021) from the Society of Biological Sciences and Rural Development (SBSRD), Uttar Pradesh

Nari Shakti Samman (2022) from SBSRD, Uttar Pradesh

She has delivered invited lectures and talks at several national and international seminars, webinars, and workshops, particularly focusing on green chemistry, sustainable polymers, and environmental conservation.

Dr. Thakur has also organized and coordinated academic training programs, notably a 7-day Training Program on Industrial Polymer Technology in collaboration with The National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), Namami Gange, and IERT Prayagraj.

Her research publications appear in peer-reviewed national and international journals, and she has also presented numerous research papers at scientific conferences. Her work primarily explores eco-friendly polymer synthesis, waste management, and phytochemical studies of medicinal plants used in tribal healing traditions.

Dr. Thakur continues to contribute to the advancement of chemical education and research, focusing on sustainable technologies and environmental awareness among the next generation of chemists.
