I have been actively involved in teaching for almost 6 years. I was a volunteer at MAD - make a difference, an NGO working towards providing education to the less privileged. Prior to that, I have accompanied my friends for over a month to teach in marathalli as a part of their office's voluntary teaching program on Saturdays.

It has crossed every one of our minds how different a subject can be with a different teacher. Teacher's attitude towards the art and their techniques is what makes a world of difference. I present my classes with powerpoint presentations and videos, facilitated by worksheets. The goal is to make the subject and its learning fun all the while covering all aspects of exam preparation.

My strength lies in my interest in the classes I have decided to teach, which in turn drives me to deliver good classes. I love interacting with children and sharing my experiences, to tips and tricks as a student of that subject.

As I'm a health science student, Biology is undoubtedly my favorite subject.
I also enjoy teaching Physics, Chemistry, Math, and the Social Sciences.

I have taught children of 9-16 years of age.

To start with, being a teacher has taught me to be more patient. Additionally, it has made me accountable for somebody's education hence it inculcates responsibility. Innovation is an important part of any teaching experience. Lastly, motivating the child and keeping his spirits up through thick and thin.
