Utkarsh Sharma

As an engineer, I have gained expertise in analytical tools, statistics, coding, and computing methodologies. Proficient in data analytics with R and Python, I possess a solid foundation in machine learning, deep learning, problem-solving, and creative thinking. My experience includes working as a UI engineer at Oracle, where I resolved issues and implemented solutions for the product Clinical One. Additionally, I served as a front-end engineer, implementing UX enhancements in the same product during my internship at Oracle.

Complementing my technical skills, I have a deep passion for teaching. Over the past two years, I have been teaching Mathematics and Computer Science to 9th and 10th-grade students. I take pride in their achievements, as evidenced by their improved marks and positive feedback. Teaching has allowed me to refine my communication, adaptability, and leadership skills.

Furthermore, I have gained valuable experience through diverse internships. As a Data Science Intern at Furtados School of Music High, I processed video data, applied NLP techniques, and enforced Bert models for intelligent chatbot functionalities. At Minus Zero, I served as a Deep Learning Engineer, contributing to object detection and distance calculation projects. Moreover, as a Student Developer at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, I successfully streamlined a web application and managed its deployment.

My technical proficiency includes languages such as C/C++, Python, and R, along with expertise in data management (MySQL), web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Oracle-JET), and data science tools (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Image Processing, OpenCV, TensorFlow, Keras, NLP). Additionally, I have completed coursework in areas like DSA, OS, ML, Predictive and Statistical Analysis with R, AI, and Applications, and Neural Networks. My soft skills, including communication, adaptability, work ethics, creative thinking, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and social skills, further enhance my abilities.

I am proud of my achievements, including winning the Start-up Punjab Hackathon and receiving a merit-based scholarship from TIET, Patiala. Additionally, I hold the Microsoft Technology Associate certificate for Introduction to Programming with Python.
