* Details about different type of networks. It includes LAN, WAN, MAN, Internet design, Routers and Subnet.

* Various types of network model and its creation.

* Communication carried out from one layer to another layer.

* Details about TCP/IP and OSI model. Advantages of TCP/IP model etc.

* Software Engineering:

* SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and its stages.

* Ways and procedures of creating documentation of a project. This includes designing CAD, DFD, Data dictionary etc.

* Unix Operating System:

* About UNIX operating system.

* Basic difference of UNIX with other operating system.

* Basic commands of UNIX.

* Shell programming.

* Ms-Access:

* Creation of database in MS – Access.

* Generation of Reports, Forms and Queries.
