As far as I know, Jin started playing the piano for his solo Epiphany performance. That means before August 2018 when BTS started their Love Yourself world tour. Jin learned to play the piano because he didn’t want to fake his piano playing while performing Epiphany live for ARMYs. He was offered to put a track and make it seem like he was playing, but no, he didn’t want to do that. He is very a genuine person. read less
