Most photographer opt prime lens for wedding 50mm to 85mm.Prime lense also offer wider apertures.Most can reach f1.8.some can reach lower to f1.4 or f1.2.

If your budget is good,then 85-200mm f2.8 is one of the best option for wedding also 50mm f1.2 prime is good for portraits of the bride and groom.
