If she is inclined to some serious photography, where she wants he efforts to be appreciated among a larger sphere of people she should opt for a Canon EOS DSLR package. I she is happy shooting good and better than average, she should opt for a Super Zoom camera with a stand.

She can start with Sony Alpha 58Y which comes with 55-200 mm lens other than the basic one i.e. 18-55mm. This will come for around 34K. Once she has achieved a good level, she can go for higher end cameras.

It depends on your budget and requirement. Nikon D5200 is a great camera on a low budget. If you need a semi professional great camera then Nikon D7200. If you need a fully professional camera then Nikon D750.
