I have conducted weekend sessions for many students who don't have cameras by sharing the cameras we have. All that the students need to have is the will to learn, will to wake up early and explore... If after the course you see an interest to buy, based on your interest and budget we recommend and provide necessary help. I hope this answers your question. If you want to continue your passion for photography with experimentation with manual mode then yes you need a DSLR to practice. But if you are talking about providing a DSLR in the Institution then yes we provide a DSLR to all students. Regards, LotusBeam School of Photography

Its almost like asking that I want to go to a school to study. Do I need books. Photography has two aspects to it: Creative and Technical. Creativity does not require a tool like camera but the moment you want to give shape to your creativity, you need a tool which is camera in this case.
