I have hands-on experience teaching Nursery and KG level students in a home-based environment. I have taught young children in my neighborhood as well as my younger sibling, which has helped me understand how to handle early learners with patience, care, and creativity. My teaching approach for Nursery-KG students is based on making learning fun, interactive, and easy to understand. At this age, children learn best through activities, visuals, and repetition rather than strict textbook methods. I focus on building their basic foundation in subjects like alphabets (A–Z), phonics, numbers (1–100), basic words, simple sentences, and general awareness. While teaching my younger sibling and nearby children, I used methods like storytelling, picture cards, rhymes, and simple games to keep them engaged. For example, I taught alphabets using objects and images so children could relate easily, and I used counting activities with toys or daily objects to make numbers interesting. I also helped them practice writing through tracing and simple exercises to improve their motor skills. One of my key focuses is to create a comfortable and friendly environment so that children do not feel afraid or pressured while learning. I encourage them to speak, ask questions, and express themselves, which helps in building confidence from an early age. I also pay attention to each child’s learning speed and adapt my teaching accordingly. In addition to academics, I also focus on developing good habits, basic discipline, and communication skills.
