Whether it is the beginning of the week or you are on a Wednesday and even on weekends, it is common for all of us to feel fatigued and bored of what we do. Work in office or the daily household chores - losing out on productivity is a common syndrome that bothers us. Productivity is not a one-day phenomenon that will boost in fraction of time. It is a gradual process that can be achieved if attempted with dedication.


Here is suggesting ten simple tips that you can follow to see a change in your productivity quotient. The change might not happen over night, but will surely impact your productivity, overall:


Your work is your very own and you cannot expect anyone else to do it for you. So, why going by deadlines set by others? Fragment your work agenda and set yourself deadlines for each of your work. The deadlines should be tight enough and you should try to hit them. Alike this your work speed will balance and your scope of lag behind will shorten.


Though multi-tasking is believed to be a superb talent, but it can hamper your work quality. Than opening multiple web browser for different kinds of work, it is better to consider one browser and respective work at a time. When one work gets over, you can move onto the next task on a fresh browser. This applies to everyday life, where you should try and perform each task with accuracy.


The common tendency in all of us is to postpone the boring works we have. Play this otherwise. Complete your dreaded tasks at the beginning of a day, when you have all energy to face it. This will make the later half of the day easier when you are tired and left with easy to do tasks. This also allows to be more productive on tough work and handle the rest gradually.


One of the smart ways to be productive on a regular basis is to list your work. At the beginning of a week or at the start of a day, simple jot down all work you aim to do. As time passes and you complete each task, you can mark the ones done. This works exactly how we used to deal vast syllabus in school, by completing one chapter at a time and hitting a tick mark against it.


One of the foremost reason for which our work gets delayed is, we tuck in distractions in the process. Distractions include unnecessary talking, spending time over phone, overspend time on television or music, over sleeping as well as over eating and so much more. Try to shorten your time for distractions and this will leave you with more time in hand, to go productive.


You cannot just keep working. Try to weave in smart breaks in between. The break times should be spent on amusement that can later, benefit your work. Like communicating with an influential personality or reading/watching the news or browsing social media in order to widen your network. If really in the attempt to become productive, do not take unnecessary breaks or when you take, ensure you use the breaks in a healthy way.


One common habit that makes everyone go less on productivity is, we procrastinate. We take up work and then keep delaying them from one day to other to months and beyond. Simply, do the work you are supposed to. Do it within the assigned deadline or you can even assert yourself your own deadline. Simply continuing to delay the work hampers your work schedule and conveys negative impression.


How much you work and be productive, you cannot miss on the following - sleep, food and exercise. Your body needs to support all the work you plan and aim to do. Hence, how much every work load you have do not skip these three. Skipping any of these three important work can hamper your health.


When on the motto to become productive, the initial days might be very motivating and then, you will fail for sure. For those times, how about look up to a mentor? The mentor can be your mom, friends, relative or sister. However, you have to ensure that the mentor you look up to leads you to good habits only. If the mentor also demotivates your work spree, then the outcome might not be favorable.


Once you learn to work on time and with attention, the workload is sure to go up. Then your aim should be to prioritize your work such that you do the really important ones at first, followed by others. If you cannot prioritize your work, then the usual work chaos may come in on your desk or life.
