IdentityI am a board-certified safety professional. While I ensure compliance with safety regulations, my main job is to teach workers how to identify risks and make proper choices to rectify them.
My secondary job is to advise my company on safety issues and new technologies that could reduce losses from injury and property damage. I do risk assessments and assist management in determining how they could affect production and profits.
I had taken several safety-related classes at work and found that they would count as college credits. So I used them toward my B.S. Wanting to get my CSP, I earned my Master's.
