Mostly it is dependent on self-study. Online tuitions are excellent for extra coaching. If you're unable to understand in your school class or are afraid to ask doubts from your teacher. But for scoring good, you need to understand that subject better. You need to grasp more which is dependent on the time you give in self-study of that subject.

A microprocessor, in terms of the layman, is the brain, which conducts all the processing or you can say the CPU. At the same time, a microcontroller is an embedded system which consists of CPU also with other peripheries such as RAM, ROM, counters, timers and I/O ports.
In simple words, Microcontroller (focus on 'controller') is used when you need to control(read/generate) multiple I/O devices and sensors. Say, you want to automate your house electrical devices you use a microcontroller.
On the other hand, a microprocessor is used for high processing power.
