Identity
Born in a family of art lovers, I was initiated into dance at a very tender age. Trained in Bharathanatym by Guru Vidushi.smt. Geetha daatar school of Manu kala kendra & Vidushi.smt. Pushpa krishnamurthy school of Pushpa Performing Arts Centre. She won many prizes in state level dance competitions. I performed to diverse audiences in India multiple festival and forums- both as a soloist and in group choreographies as part of the Manu kala kendra & Pushpa Performing Dance Company. Also proficient in the intricate art of Nattuvangam (i.e. managing rhytham on cymbals and saying complex rhythmic paterns or jatis). As part of the Society for the Promotion of India classical Music and culture amongst youth, I assisted my guru in multiple lecture demonstration to spread awareness of classical performing art amongst school children.
