I am a product of the Indian pharmaceutical, hospital, and healthcare marketing ecosystem—not shaped by textbooks or management jargon, but by hard-earned experience in the field. I’ve spent close to four decades on the ground. I started as a Medical Representative, carrying bags, chasing prescriptions, facing rejection, learning the unspoken rules of doctors’ chambers and hospital corridors. I climbed the hierarchy the hard way step by step eventually reaching the position of Senior General Manager in the pharmaceutical industry. My learning came from case studies. It came from product launches, prescriptions persuasions, I led teams that struggled,
and people who needed direction more than motivation. My core exposure has always been in anti-infectives, critical care, Surgical products, Surgical equipments and niche therapies areas where marketing is not cosmetic and consequences are real. Beyond pharma, I’ve worked as GM Operations, Purchase, Training & Development and also now working as a COO in a major corporate hospital. Those roles taught me something the industry often forgets: healthcare is not just about selling molecules or filling beds it’s about systems, people, ethics, and accountability. Sales and marketing excite me but what truly keeps me going is training and development. I am a Trainer, (Both Scientific & Soft skills) I have been a part of training JCI, NABH, NABL in Apollo
Hospital and other hospitals, I have worked so far. I enjoy building People and Managers from the inside out confidence before competence, spoken English before smart jargon, clarity before presentations, thinking before pitching. I work closely on marketing rare, niche, and US FDA–approved products that are not consistently available in India products that demand knowledge, conviction, and responsibility, not shortcuts. I also speak openly about the uncomfortable stuff if required. The moral conflict of an industry that talks ethics publicly and practices convenience privately. I don’t claim innocence. I’ve been part of the system. I’ve sold. I’ve marketed. I’ve compromised. I’ve learned. I’m not trying to be a thought leader. I’m not here to
sound intellectual or fashionable. I’m here to tell the truth as someone with scars, contradictions, and enough experience to know that real learning only happens when we stop pretending.
