What are the difference between Oracle Forms and Apps Forms?

Sky IT Solutions

Oracle Apps Forms have standards... like using custom.pll etc., so when you develop a Oracle Form for Apps then you need to use those standards in order to keep the look-and-feel identical of all the forms within Oracle Apps which we customize or develop newly and incorporate in Oracle Applications. You can develop an normal Oracle Form and attach it in Oracle Apps... only thing would the look and feel would be different not according to Oracle Apps Standards... Regards Dinesh Chandar MK

What are the static and dynamic reports?

G Venkat Reddy

Tutor

Dynamic and Static Reports Hyperion Enterprise Reporting Web lets you add two kinds of reports to your Web site: dynamic reports and static reports. Dynamic reports show the current data in a Hyperion Enterprise application. The system updates the data in a dynamic report when the report is displayed in a Web browser. You use dynamic reports to show information to your users that changes over time. You can add links to dynamic reports on your Web site or embed dynamic reports into existing Web pages. Static reports capture the data in a Hyperion Enterprise application at the time the report was created. You use static reports to present information to your users that is not likely to change over time. Unlike dynamic reports, the information in a static report does not update when the system displays the report in Hyperion Enterprise Reporting Web. The system retrieves the data for the static report at the time of its creation and does not refresh it again.
