Most people who want to write a screenplay never get past the first few pages — not for lack of ideas, but for lack of structure and someone to push the work forward. This 8-week workshop is built to fix that.
Led by a professional screenwriter and director who trained at the London Film School and has spent over 15 years writing and directing feature films, short films, and television, including a telefilm for MTV, with festival nominations at IFFI and Filmfare.
Over eight weekly sessions, you'll develop one project of your own — a short film, a feature screenplay, or a television episode, your choice — from a first idea through to a finished draft. We'll work through story structure and outlining, character development, writing dialogue that sounds real, scene construction and pacing, and finally drafting and polishing the complete script.
This is a hands-on workshop, not a lecture series — every session works directly on your material, with detailed feedback along the way. By the end of the eight weeks, you won't just understand screenwriting in theory — you'll have a finished screenplay in hand, and a clear sense of what to do with it next.
