This class is designed for beginners, college students, aspiring ethical hackers, and IT professionals who want to develop practical Kali Linux skills. As a Security Analyst working in a cybersecurity organization, I will share industry insights, practical techniques, and real-world examples to help students understand how Kali Linux is used in professional security assessments.
Students will learn how to install and configure Kali Linux, navigate the terminal, manage files and permissions, troubleshoot network connectivity, and work with essential cybersecurity tools. The course also introduces reconnaissance, port scanning, service enumeration, and basic vulnerability assessment in authorized lab environments.
The emphasis is on hands-on learning rather than theory alone. Students will gain confidence using Linux, understand fundamental security workflows, and develop a strong foundation for further learning in penetration testing and bug bounty hunting.
No previous cybersecurity experience is required. Basic computer knowledge, a laptop, and a willingness to practice are sufficient to get started.
The goal is to help students build industry-relevant skills and prepare for future cybersecurity internships and entry-level opportunities through consistent practice and continued learning.
