In this 1-hour session, you'll get a clear introduction to Linux — what it is, why it powers most servers and cloud infrastructure worldwide, and how it's used in real DevOps and Cloud environments. I'll walk you through basic terminal navigation, the Linux file system structure, and a few essential commands with live demos. You'll also get an overview of why Linux skills are in high demand and a roadmap for how to build on this foundation for DevOps/Cloud roles.

Is there anything students need to bring to the class?
Just a laptop with a stable internet connection. Any operating system is fine — I'll demonstrate using a terminal/virtual machine, and no prior knowledge is required.
