Inheritance is the anecdotal of all major concepts of sexual reproduction, variation and fertilization in living world. Understanding of chromosomes,chromatin fibre, DNA ,alleles ,genes and DNA replication transcription and translation which is also known as Protein synthesis is key to lay Foundation for Core IGCSE Biology 0610 concepts. Understanding how different characters with its different variants/alleles with each other pass the traits from one generation to another. The correlation between the earlier unit reproduction and this current unit inheritance allows the learner to Bridge between the concepts of gamete formation and fertilization with the concepts of genetics.
