Home Science-10

This class is for students studying in 10th standard, NIOS Board. In this course, students will learn about Home Science subjects like Food Science, Environment, Health, Communicable & Lifestyle Diseases, Textiles, Housing, Resource Management, Human Development, Ethics in Daily Life and Consumer Rights. Home Science is a scoring subject and very useful and practical. It can be applied in our daily life to improve our quality of living. Since students will be studying this subject for the first time, I will explain the concepts using several, relevant examples in order to help them understand the concepts well. Chapter-wise explanation and tests will be conducted, followed by discussion and mock exam for sample question papers & previous years' question papers to help students gain confidence for their Board exams. I will provide notes and worksheets for each chapter. This will help the students to be thorough with concepts and help them face application-based questions.
