 * Real Number: Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic, decimal representations of rational numbers.
 * Polynomials: Zeros of a polynomial, relationship between zeroes and coefficients of quadratic polynomials.
 * Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables: Graphical method of their solution, consistency/inconsistency, algebraic conditions for number of solutions.
 * Quadratic Equations: Standard form of a quadratic equation, factorization, using quadratic formula, relationship between discriminant and nature of roots.
 * Arithmetic Progressions: nth term of an AP, sum of first n terms of an AP.
 * Coordinate Geometry: Distances, sections, area of a triangle.
 * Triangles: Congruence, similarity, proofs of (i) Basic Proportionality Theorem, (ii) (AAA) criteria of similarity.
 * Circles: Tangents to a circle at a point of contact.
 * Constructions: Division of a line segment in a given ratio, tangent to a circle from a point outside it.
 * Introduction to Trigonometry: Trigonometric ratios of an acute angle of a right-angled triangle, values of trigonometric ratios for 0°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°.
 * Trigonometric Identities: Proofs and applications of the identity \sin^2 A + \cos^2 A = 1.
 * Heights and Distances: Simple problems on heights and distances.
 * Areas Related to Circles: Area of a circle, area of sectors and segments of a circle.
 * Surface Areas and Volumes: Surface areas and volumes of combinations of any two of: cubes, cuboids, spheres, hemispheres and right circular cylinders/cones.
 * Statistics: Mean, median, mode of grouped data (bimodal situation to be avoided).
 * Probability: Classical definition of probability. Simple problems on single events.
