I conducted a basic CAD training class focused on CATIA and NX, designed for beginners who want to build a strong foundation in design. The session began with a step-by-step guide on installing CATIA software, helping students set up their systems properly. The training then covered basic sketch tools, part modeling techniques, and an introduction to surface modeling. Throughout the class, I shared practical examples and tips from my 2 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry, especially in designing plastic parts for interior components like Instrument Panels and Consoles. The class was structured to be easy to follow, using real-world scenarios to make the learning process more relatable. By the end of the training, students were able to confidently navigate the CAD interface, use essential tools in both CATIA and NX.
