Course Description
This beginner-friendly Bharatanatyam workshop is designed for students who are new to classical dance or wish to build a strong foundation in Bharatanatyam. The focus of the workshop is on learning basic Adavus (fundamental dance steps) along with essential theory, posture, and rhythm understanding.
Students will be guided step-by-step to understand correct body alignment, hand movements, footwork, and coordination between movement and rhythm. The workshop emphasizes clarity, discipline, and grace, which form the backbone of Bharatanatyam training.
