Ms. Varsha's class introduces the basic technical foundations of ballet with an athletic approach. This class eloquently fuses the elements of ballet and fitness in addressing full body strengthening and stretching, focusing on the correct placement and alignment of joints, bones and muscles. We work to strengthen and lengthen our spine, core, legs and arms, all while maintaining the quality of effortlessness and grace through the movements. The class is designed keeping in mind the principles of GYROTONIC®, Floor Barre and Pilates. She teaches how to workout effectively and efficiently without getting exhausted.
Whether you are new to the world of dance and fitness or in rehab post injury, this class is suited for all ages and backgrounds.
All you need to carry for this class is a yoga mat, bottle of water and comfortable workout clothes.
