Hello...I want to learn odissi and I'm 23. I have joined a class but my knees are weak. I'm wondering if I can continue to learn if I work on strengthening them? doctor said I have no problems but I'm worried that I'll have to give up after some years. Is it an utterly hopeless situation? Should I join a kathak class instead because it doesn't require me to bend my knees? How do older ladies manage? Please help.
