Hi Ritu,
Since you have an eight-year GAP in your career, I suggest that you go for a Course through which you can start your IT career and then you can upgrade. Here are some Course with Pros and Cons:
1. Python: Very Trending nowadays, and there are lots of options like you can create a web app, desktop app, machine learning. But keep in mind if you go only for Python then again it will difficult to find a job unless and until you don't go for some frameworks on the top of the Python like Dojo and Django. And that will take lots of time. So I will suggest you don't go for this. You can add these technologies after entering into IT field.
2. Java/.Net: Lots of openings but lots of aspirants as well. But you will get a job; it's better than Python.
3. Angular/React: That's the best thing that you can pick. Lots of opening but don't have too many peoples who know this. It's easy, and you will get a handsome salary on these technologies
4. Web Designing: Very safe. You will get a job very quickly, but a career perspective, I will not suggest this as well.
My Suggestion will be going for Angular/React, and you will get a job with a handsome salary.
