Shivani - Let's deep dive into ServiceNow

I am an experienced technology trainer with around 6 years of experience in teaching and training students in ServiceNow and JavaScript. I focus on helping learners develop both theoretical understanding and practical, industry-relevant technical skills. My teaching approach is designed to make complex concepts easier to understand while giving students opportunities to apply their knowledge through hands-on practice.

I have completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in computer science and programming, which I combine with my professional experience to provide practical and relevant technical training.

Alongside my teaching and training experience, I have around 6 years of professional experience as a ServiceNow Developer. I currently work as an Assistant Manager at KPMG, where I work on ServiceNow projects and apply my technical knowledge in a professional environment. This industry exposure helps me bring real-world examples, practical scenarios, and current workplace perspectives into my training sessions.

For ServiceNow training, I focus on helping students understand the platform and its concepts through practical demonstrations and project-based scenarios. I explain topics step by step and connect theoretical concepts with how they are used in actual professional projects. I also help students develop problem-solving and debugging skills so that they can approach technical challenges more confidently.

In JavaScript, I focus on developing a strong understanding of programming concepts and helping students apply them through coding practice. My sessions include practical exercises, debugging, examples, and tasks that encourage students to write and understand code themselves. I believe hands-on practice is important for developing technical confidence and making concepts easier to retain.

My teaching methodology is structured, practical, and interactive. I begin by understanding the student's current knowledge level and learning objectives and then prepare a lesson plan accordingly. During the sessions, I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and clarify their doubts. I also provide practice assignments and regularly review progress to ensure that students are comfortable with each topic before moving forward.

I offer both online and offline training and use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to explain concepts, demonstrate workflows, organise information, and support practical exercises. My combination of professional ServiceNow experience, technical education, and teaching experience allows me to provide training that connects concepts with real-world applications. My goal is to help students build practical skills, strengthen their technical foundation, and become more confident in working with ServiceNow and JavaScript.
