I am a distinguished academician currently serving as an Assistant professor in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IILM University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. I was previously held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, School of Liberal and Creative Arts: Social Sciences and Languages, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. I have been also associated with SRM University, Sonipat Haryana, and Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, and having 10 years of teaching experience.
My academic and research interests includes Scheduled tribes, Gender Studies, Environmental Studies, and Health. I have authored 45 research publications in scopus-indexed journals and contributed some books, and chapters to academic books. I have participated in 19 national and internal conferences and 14 FDPs and workshops. I was also a participated a one week educational tour to USA in 2015 conducted by Columbia University and financed by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
I hold a PhD degree in Sociology from Gautam Buddha University in 2019, along with an Maters, M.Phil. (Gold Medalist) in Sociology, a B.Ed. from CCSU, a BSC. from DU. I am a life time member of ISS. I have supervised to five number of PhD scholars under my supervision.
