During this time, I taught core subjects, helped students complete their homework, strengthened their fundamentals, and prepared them for school examinations. Academically, I have always been a strong performer. I scored 94% in my ICSE Class 10 board examinations and earned a 30% scholarship to pursue my engineering degree at JECRC University, Jaipur. In addition to my tutoring experience, I bring over 8 years of professional experience as a software developer, having worked with leading organizations such as KPMG, LTIMindtree, Tech Mahindra, and Accolite Bounteous. I started my career as a Software Development Engineer and currently work as a Software Development Lead, where I mentor junior developers, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and guide teams of 3–4 members through technical implementations and project delivery. Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Whether it is helping young students build strong academic foundations or mentoring professionals in the workplace, I believe learning becomes effective when concepts are explained with patience, real-life examples, and regular practice. I have hands-on knowledge and experience in candle making, including working with different types of moulds, aromas, waxes, and understanding the appropriate wax temperatures for mixing fragrance oils effectively. I also enjoy creating occasion-specific and customised candles based on different themes and requirements. I have owned and managed my own candle store, **The Sister’s Store**, on Meesho for more than a year. While running the store gave me valuable business and practical experience, candle making has always been more than just a business for me. I genuinely consider it a hobby and a creative passion. The process of experimenting with new designs, fragrances, moulds, and occasion-specific ideas is what motivates me to keep learning and creating. I believe this passion, along with my practical experience, helps me teach candle making in a simple, engaging, and hands-on way, especially for beginners.

I have 2 years of teaching experience and have a strong command of English, with good pronunciation, communication, and language skills. During my school years, I also scored the maximum marks in the English Olympiad, which reflects my strong foundation in English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and language usage. My teaching approach to phonics focuses on helping children understand the connection between letters and their corresponding sounds. I believe phonics should be taught through simple explanations, repetition, examples, and engaging activities rather than memorisation alone. I can help students recognise letter sounds, blend individual sounds to form words, segment words into sounds, and gradually develop better reading and pronunciation skills. My clear pronunciation allows me to demonstrate sounds accurately and help students practise them correctly. I encourage students to read aloud, repeat sounds and words, and participate in interactive exercises so that they become more confident in using English. With my 2 years of teaching experience, I understand that every child has a different learning pace. I therefore adapt my teaching methods according to the child’s age, level, and understanding. My aim is to make phonics learning enjoyable, easy to understand, and effective while developing a strong foundation for reading, spelling, pronunciation, and confident communication.
