I was always inclined towards teaching young students. I have developed my teaching style and strategies throughout the years I have taught the students. With twenty years of experience working in schools, I decided to take private tuition. I teach Mathematics for class 11 and 12th students in the CBSE board and help IIT JEE aspirants with their Exam preparation. I am always proud of the results my students get. I take both online and offline classes, but for the time being, offline is preferable for me.

My primary focus as a teacher is to clear the basic concepts for the students. I pay attention to making complicated concepts easy to understand. I specifically find out easier and more efficient ways for the students to deal with any problems. Then I show them examples of solving the problem before asking them to practice some problems in front of me. After that I analyse the method student has used in the solutions and help them understand their mistakes. I often observe students work to see what method they are comfortable with and help them get better with the shortcuts. The errors of the students are as important as the correct steps. I encourage my students to have a more efficient approach. Assignments on each chapter are provided to track the growth of the student. Regular tests are taken at the end of each chapter, helping students to keep themselves updated with all the previous knowledge. And I take short revisions of earlier topics in every class.

As mentioned above, I have previously worked in CBSE board checking. The experience I have gained there helps me guide my students. In CBSE boards, marks are divided for every step the student has written to solve the problem. I encourage my students to mention every step while solving. I keep in mind to give my students tips to solve problems more efficiently to achieve the marks they deserve. I have also created my techniques to approach problems, which have proved to be helpful to my students. How to increase interest in maths? I aspire to answer this question. The most important thing is increasing students' interest in maths. My different and innovative approaches invoke a new sense of curiosity in the students. Once the students enjoy maths, they also start practising it more often.
