I am a CTET-qualified Primary Educator and English teacher with over 9 years of teaching experience in the CBSE education system. I teach all subjects to students from Classes 1 to 5 and also provide English language and Spoken English classes. My teaching approach focuses on building strong academic foundations while developing communication skills, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
I have completed my Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and Master of Arts (M.A.) in English. I have also completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECCED) and the Rastrabhasha Praveen qualification. In addition, I have undertaken professional development programmes in Value Education, NEP 2020 and the integration of art into learning, as well as the use of digital tools for teaching, learning, and assessment. I am also CTET qualified as a Primary Educator and English teacher.
Over the years, I have taught students from Classes 1 to 5 as a mother teacher and have also taught English to students from Classes 1 to 8. This experience has helped me understand the academic and developmental needs of young learners. I focus on making lessons clear, engaging, and age-appropriate so that students can understand concepts comfortably and develop a strong foundation across subjects.
My English teaching focuses on reading, grammar, vocabulary, phonics, pronunciation, sentence formation, and communication skills. I help students improve their spoken English through regular practice and interactive activities while also strengthening their academic language skills. I believe that students learn languages more effectively when they are encouraged to speak, ask questions, practise new words, and use English confidently in everyday situations.
For primary students, I use personalised teaching methods based on their individual learning pace and requirements. I break complex concepts into simple steps, use relatable examples, and encourage students to participate actively during lessons. My focus is not only on completing the syllabus but also on ensuring that students understand what they are being taught and are able to apply their knowledge independently.
I follow structured lesson plans and conduct interactive sessions to keep students involved throughout the class. I use PPT presentations and a digital whiteboard to explain concepts, present visual examples, practise questions, and organise important information. I also adapt my teaching methods according to the student's strengths, areas of difficulty, and learning goals.
I conduct my classes online and aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment for every student. With my experience as a primary educator and English teacher, along with my academic qualifications and training in modern teaching practices, I focus on helping students build strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and confidence. My goal is to make every class meaningful, engaging, and suited to the student's individual learning needs.
