I have over 30 years of experience in education, training and communication, working with students, educators and professionals in India and internationally. A significant part of my work has focused on developing spoken English, communication skills, confidence and professional speaking. I have worked extensively with learners at different levels of English proficiency, helping them move from hesitation and limited expression to clearer, more confident and effective communication. My approach to Spoken English is practical and activity-based rather than dependent on memorising grammar rules. I use conversations, role plays, situational speaking, spontaneous speaking exercises, discussions, presentations and real-life scenarios to help learners use English naturally and confidently. I also have extensive experience preparing university students and young professionals for interviews, group discussions and workplace communication. I help learners improve vocabulary, sentence construction, pronunciation, fluency, listening skills and the ability to organise their thoughts while speaking. For adult learners, I particularly focus on English that can be used in professional situations—introducing oneself confidently, participating in meetings and discussions, answering questions effectively, expressing opinions, agreeing and disagreeing professionally, and communicating with colleagues and clients. My sessions are supportive, interactive and adapted to each learner's current level and individual goals. My objective is not simply to teach English, but to enable learners to speak with greater confidence, clarity and independence in real-life situations.
