I have 15 years of experience teaching Spoken English to students of all ages, from young children to working professionals. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certification and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. My spoken English classes focus on helping students communicate naturally and confidently in real-life situations. I use a student-centred approach that combines conversation practice, pronunciation work, vocabulary building, and gentle error correction to help students improve quickly without feeling stressed or embarrassed. I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds including complete beginners who have never spoken English before, intermediate students wanting to improve fluency, professionals needing English for work, and children learning English as a second language. I also have experience teaching deaf and hard-of-hearing learners, which has strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching methods to different learning needs. My lessons are 100% online via Zoom, making them accessible to students anywhere in the world. I create a warm, relaxed, and encouraging environment in every lesson so students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes — because mistakes are how we learn. I tailor every lesson to the individual student's goals, level, and learning style so every session is productive and enjoyable. My goal is simple — to help every student speak English with real confidence.
