Ugwuja Charles Onyedika

My name is Ugwuja Charles Onyedika. I am from Ohodo in IGBO-ETITI Local government area of Enugu state; a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. I obtained my first degree in Education English. I am currently a master’s student in the Department of English and Literary Studies at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where I am pursuing a Master’s degree in English. I have taught for many years and have acquired extensive experience through various teaching roles. I have worked in several tutorial centers, including ELITE Academy Nsukka, Bishop Alex Academy, and Potter's Academy, where I prepared students for the JAMB examination. Even as an undergraduate at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, I tutored my junior colleagues in various subjects. During my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra State (2020–2021), I taught at Community Secondary School, Umoji. After completing my NYSC, I worked as a Literature-in-English teacher at Chidubem International Secondary School, Nsukka (2022–2023). I also taught English Language at St. Catherine’s Comprehensive Secondary School, Nsukka (2022–2024) and Shalom Academy, Nsukka (2023–2024), handling senior secondary classes in both institutions. Currently, I work at Mea Mater Elizabeth High School, Oji-Agu, Nkanu West, Enugu State (2025–present), where I serve as an English Language instructor for senior secondary classes. I am responsible for preparing students for IGCSE, JAMB, and SSCE examinations. At the same time, I am conducting research for my master’s thesis. As an educationist and postgraduate student, I am deeply passionate about teaching. My primary aim is to impart knowledge to the younger generation, guide their learning processes, and help nurture individuals with enlightened mindsets for a better and more progressive future.
