I hold research experience in molecular parasitology, bioinformatics, and experimental biology through academic and institutional research projects. During my Master's dissertation at Savitribai Phule Pune University (2024–2025), I investigated the antileishmanial potential of the natural flavonoid Hesperetin through inhibition of Topoisomerase-I in Leishmania parasites, employing both experimental and computational approaches for drug target validation. Additionally, I completed a Summer Research Internship at the Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology, IIT Kharagpur, where I studied the interaction and overexpression of Topoisomerase IIIα-RMI1 in Leishmania donovani under the guidance of Dr. Agneyo Ganguly. My research training includes hands-on experience in DNA and RNA isolation, PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, protein purification, SDS-PAGE, parasite cell culture, biochemical and cell-based assays, and aseptic laboratory techniques. I am also proficient in bioinformatics analysis, molecular docking, in-silico studies, scientific data interpretation, and data visualization using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Furthermore, I possess strong competencies in experimental design, literature review, scientific writing, manuscript preparation, project planning, and collaborative research, enabling me to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary research projects.
