IdentityI am a mental health researcher, sex educator and trauma informed yoga practitioner. I graduated with a Bachelor’s from Emory University. After gaining experience in the healthcare side of corporate America and volunteering in India, I went on to complete my MSc in Global Mental Health from King’s College London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Upon graduation in 2015, I began working for Sangath, a NGO based in Goa as the Manager of the Addictions Research Group (ARG). I have also worked in the Czech Republic and Thailand in the mental health and education sectors. I recently completed an International diploma in Mental Health, Human Rights and Law with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Indian Law Society (ILS) based in Pune.
I have experience teaching for over 10 years. I am giving online tuition since the lockdown. I am a certified English teacher, Life Skills coach, Health educator and Yoga practitioner. I have worked all over the world in several capacities. I am currently working on healthcare, education and women's empowerment projects in rural India with the Youth for India foundation funded by SBI bank.
